We offer in-home service on floor clocks within a limited service area. 

General maintenance, setup, adjustments, and determining the condition of your clock can be done in your home by our highly qualified service personnel. We can also advise you on how to prepare your clock for an upcoming move or arrange to set up your floor clock after it has been moved if you wish (if the destination location is within our service area).

• Our backlog for in-home service is currently: 3-4+ months

Whether your clock is modern or antique our clockmakers are uniquely qualified to handle your repair needs. We will inspect your clock or watch and determine age, condition, approximate value, and what options are available for service at no charge if the item is brought in to our store located at 270 Sundown Road in South Elgin, IL 60177.

CLOCKS:

We can provide a diverse range of services to most types of clocks, from modern battery operated quartz mechanism replacement to routine maintenance or repairs of modern or antique mechanical clocks (wind-up spring-driven or weight-driven). We do not offer major repairs or restoration of clock cases, however, if we may be able to provide recommendations for local businesses who do work on cases, depending on your clock's needs.

• Our backlog for replacing standard quartz battery clock movements is currently: 2-4 weeks

• Our backlog for standard routine service of standard mechanical clock movements is currently: 3-4 months

WATCHES:

We do replace batteries in quartz watches (we do not offer any repairs on battery-operated watches). We can do fitting/sizing of standard metal watch bands. Quartz Watch Battery Replacement starts at $20 and Band Sizing starts at $10.

We do not service modern, antique, or vintage mechanical (automatic, kinetic, or self-wind) watches. 

• Standard watch battery replacement or band sizing can typically be done while you wait (unless you bring in several at one time).

RESTORATION:

Our South Elgin location contains a well-equipped machine shop which enables us to manufacture missing or damaged parts in-house for most mechanical clocks made regardless of age. At no charge, will inspect your clock or watch and determine age, condition, approximate value, and what options are available for restoration if the item is brought in to our store located at 270 Sundown Road in South Elgin, IL 60177.

We also have access to a variety of special services which pertain to antique clock restoration, such as dial restoration. We do not offer major repairs or restoration of clock cases, however, we may be able to provide recommendations for local businesses who do work on cases, depending on your clock's needs. However, the availability of many of the specialty services we used to frequently use is quickly diminishing.

• Our backlog for standard rebuilds and restoration of standard mechanical clock movements is currently: 12+ months
